Amanda Carmody
Amanda has focused her career on advocating for plaintiffs in civil litigation because she enjoys making a real difference in people’s lives when they need it most. After graduating college, Amanda worked in a law firm that represented individuals who had been catastrophically hurt because of someone else’s negligence. She saw the positive impact firsthand that holding those responsible had on plaintiffs’ lives and wellbeing. This experience drove her to go to law school and become a plaintiff’s lawyer. Today, she has represented individuals in both civil rights cases and personal injury cases and can’t imagine doing anything else.
What sets Amanda apart is her knack for connecting with clients on a personal level. She’s a compassionate listener who understands that the legal process can be draining and prioritizes helping her clients tell their story. Litigation shouldn’t just about seeking justice; it should also be about finding mental and emotional closure. Mental health and wellbeing are often overlooked in the legal world, but Amanda is striving to change this for the benefit of her clients and for the benefit of the practice of law.
When she’s not working, Amanda enjoys cooking, traveling, watching Formula One, and hanging out with husband and their two dogs, Brady and Belle.
